Alan Halsall weight loss: How Coronation Street’s Tyrone Dobbs shed the pounds

Alan Halsall, 38, has lost a lot of weight throughout his years on television screens. Documenting his body transformation on social media, the actor is now in great shape and has regularly shared snaps of him hitting the gym in recent years. 

“Health is not just about the weights you’re lifting or what you’re eating. It’s also about what you’re thinking and saying!!”

Pictures of the television star see him on various different machines including the rowing machine.

According to Healthline, just 30 minutes of rowing can see someone burn up to 255 calories. 

In comparison, 30 minutes of walking could help someone burn around 130 calories.

He also teamed up with Sam Aston, who plays Chesney, to help them both get in shape before a friend’s wedding.

“Great workout today with @samaston93 whipping him into wedding shape,” he wrote on Instagram. 

Alan also shared that he likes to play team sports to help him stay motivated, with the likes of badminton which he has played with his co-stars and his girlfriend.

Explaining previously that he isn’t too serious about dieting, the TV star regularly shares snaps of him indulging into a glass of wine and cocktails.

During the lockdowns this year, Alan has been keeping on top of his fitness, sharing snaps of himself on bike rides.

The actor regularly exercises and in lockdown, shared workouts online to help his fans.

He also used a meal provider to help cut the calories.
