Amanda Owen is currently starring in a Channel 5 documentary called Our Yorkshire Farm. The show documents her and her family’s daily life on the remote Yorkshire dales. Amanda, and her husband Clive, show viewers how they take care of their animals and perform their shepherding duties.
A well-used Chesterfield leather sofa can be seen in the centre of the room along with an armchair to the right of the fireplace.
The room is definitely a family favourite with the Owens’ various animals – including a miniature pony – often making an appearance in Amanda’s social media photos.
A bookshelf full of books can also be spotted to the left of the fireplace.
The entrance to the house follows the home’s cottage theme.
A farmhouse door, white washed walls and wooden beams on the ceiling make the property look homely and traditional.
The exterior of the property is made from stone which is perfect for keeping heat in during the winter months.
Low stone walls surround the property along with fields and trees.
The Owens also have a private rural retreat located at the very top of Upper Swaledale.
The property is surrounded by five acres of meadows and pastures and is available to stay in.
