BUILD-A-BEAR has kicked off its Black Friday sale and shoppers can get toys with up to 67% off.

The retailer has also slashed the prices on toy accessories – perfect for parents looking to stock up on Christmas presents.

The discounts are available as long as stocks last, so it’s best to be quick if you want to avoid missing out.

Build-a-Bear’s stores are currently closed in England due to the national lockdown, but you can get the discounts online too.

Just keep in mind that the retailer charges £3.99 for home delivery.

Alternatively, you can click and collect for free to a few stores in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales that are currently open for browsing as usual.

These are located in Belfast, Bridgend, Cardiff and Edinburgh.

The biggest discount we could find on toys in Build-a-Bear’s Black Friday sale is on this Olaf soft toy.

Measuring 41cm tall, it could prove a hit with any little Frozen fans on Christmas Day.

In comparison, Disney is selling a similar toy measuring 38cm for a pricier £12.50, down from £21.

My Little Pony Cheerilee Furry Friend

Cheerilee is a My Little Pony teacher who loves having a good time with her friends

My Little Pony fans might like this pink pony, which measures 36cm tall, under the Christmas tree this year.

Known for her sunny personality, Cheerilee is a Ponyville Schoolhouse teacher who loves having a good time with her friends.

We couldn’t find any similar Cheerilee toys anywhere else, but A1 Toys is selling a My Little Pony toy featuring the Applejack character for a pricier £29.99.

SpongeBob SquarePants

The SpongeBob SquarePants soft toy measures 41cm tall

Build-a-Bear has also reduced the price of this soft toy featuring arguably the world’s most lovable sponge.

The SpongeBob SquarePants toy measures 41cm tall and it’s yours for a tenner.

Argos is selling a slightly smaller 37cm for the same price tag.

Holiday Hugs Stocking

This Christmas stocking is only available on Build-a-Bear’s website

Perfect for stuffing Christmas surprises, this stocking is available in Build-a-Bear’s Black Friday sale.

Just keep in mind it’s only available on its website, so you’ll have to shop online to get it.

Christmas stockings are available from a wide range of retailers, with B&Q selling a more basic stocking for just £1.

Comet’s Tech Coat & Goggle Set 2 piece

Build-a-Bear has reduced this two-piece set by 60% for Black Friday

Last but not least, Build-a-Bear has also reduced a bunch of accessories and clothing for your furry friends, including this two-piece set.

Comet’s Tech Coat & Goggles comes in the colours of black, green, red, blue and silver, and has a tablet tucked into the belt.

The set is only available at Build-a-Bear so you’ll have to shop at the retailer to get your hands on it.


In other Black Friday news, Smyths Toys has launched an early sale with discounts on Disney, LOL Surprise and Sylvanian Families.

While Tesco’s early Black Friday deals include up to 40% off Paw Patrol and Babyliss.

Plus, Disney has launched its Black Friday deals with up to 50% off toys and clothing.
