Central Line down: London Tube line suffers 'severe delays' after person injured on track

Transport for London (TFL) has confirmed there is currently no Underground trains running from Marble Arch to White City. There are severe delays on the rest of the line. TFL said tickets will be accepted on buses, TFL trail, Great Western DLR, London Overground and Greater Anglia routes.

In a statement TFL said: “No service between Marble Arch and White City while emergency services deal with a casualty on the track.

“Tickets accepted on London Buses TFL Rail Paddington to Hayes & Harlington and Liverpool Street to Shenfield Chiltern Railway accepting tickets Marylebone to West Ruislip, Great Western DLR, London Overground and Greater Anglia via reasonable routes.

“Severe delays on the rest of the line.”

The Central Line operates from West Ruislip to Epping covering a distance on 37 miles.
