EMMERDALE real life couple Charley Webb and Mathhew Wolfenden revealed they got an early visit from Santa on Christmas Eve.

The big man himself managed to spare a few precious minutes out of his busy schedule to drop in on the soap stars and their three children.

Santa came over to see the kids quickly before he headed off on his travels

Charley, 32, shared the adorable photo of the happy family at their door with Father Christmas standing nearby for the shot.

The soap actress captioned the snap: “Thank you FC”

Santa looked spectacular in his red suit with white fur trim and matching hat. In his arms he was carrying the naughty and nice list, clearly there to let their kids know – Buster, 10, Bowie, four, and one-year-old Ace – how well they’ve all been behaving.

The adorable photo quickly gathered thousands of likes with many of the soap star’s followers commenting under the pic.

While a third added: “Gorgeous photo of your family with Santa merry Christmas all.”

Charley and Matthew, 40, have a huge Nutcracker standing sentinel outside their door so we’ll just have to imagine how incredible the inside of their home must be decked out.

The couple have given fans small glimpses of inside over their traditional brick home, complete with a sprawling garden, huge sofas and a massive picture of David Bowie.

Classic furnishings fill the living room, including a white bookcase, fur rugs, coloured sofas and a Moroccan carpet.

Toys are scattered throughout the house, with Charley revealing the kids are given limited access to screens.

The pair share three sons – Buster, 10, Bowie, four, and one-year-old Ace – and while they have been grateful to spend more quality time together during this year’s repeated lockdowns, they were hoping to enjoy an adults-only getaway to celebrate Matthew’s 40th birthday in May.

He wrote on Instagram: “So, my 40th birthday present from my lovely wife @miss_charleywebb (finally) arrived, and I’m a bit in love with it! #saysitallaboutourfamily”.

The open plan kitchen boasts a huge Davie Bowie picture with bi-folding glass doors and a wooden bench.
