Hero World Challenge prize money: How much can Tiger Woods and co earn?

2views

The Hero World Challenge returns to the Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas. Tiger Woods hosts the event, which features a smaller field of just 18 players. Earnings from the tournament are not included in money rankings on any of the world’s professional golf tours but it is recognised as an unofficial money event by the PGA Tour.

Since 2009, the Hero World Challenge offers Official World Golf Ranking points.

The tournament will run from Wednesday to Saturday for the very first time.

The schedule change gives players an extra day for travel and preparation ahead of next week’s Presidents Cup in Australia.

There is a total prize fund of $3.5million for the Hero World Challenge, with the winner taking home a cool $1m.

Read on for the full prize money breakdown.
