Neighbours villain Finn Kelly (played by Rob Mills) has been entertaining Channel 5 viewers for the past couple of months.
Finally, he is on trial for his crimes yet it seems he may get away with it all.
Finn has been trying to prove he has changed and has left his old ways behind.
And it seems he has actually manage to get away with it, as Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) will testify for him.
Two days before the trial, a mystery man tries to run over Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) and Imogen Willis (Ariel Kaplan).
Bea is watching on from the distance and is besides herself by what she’s seeing.
But she is completely taken aback when she catches Finn drive in front of the car to push the women out of danger.
Although he is hit, he only gets small injures but manages to look like a complete hero.
And while Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) continues with the investigation into the driver’s identity, Bea has some time to consider things.
She wonders if she judged Finn too soon and wonders if his amnesia has genuinely changed him.
When the trial comes around a statement from Xanthe Canning (Lily Van Der Meer) which seems to nail him and his criminal status.
However, defence from Susan puts doubt on her niece’s judgement.
Then, Bea takes to the stand and issues a very kind testimony, backing up what Susan said previously.
Much to the surprise of everyone, Bea makes the decision to change what she originally said about Finn meaning it could save him.
Bea’s sister, Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) insists she won’t change her mind on Finn, understanding what a horror he has been.
But then, she realises the father of her baby is actually Finn’s brother and she immediately becomes horrified.
Elly runs out of the courtroom and begs the judge to adjourn.
Will this mean Finn will get out of court free? Only time will tell.
And that’s not all of the upcoming drama for Elly as she is then forced to explain her panicked actions to Mark.
She thought she was expecting a baby with her husband, but when it sadly wasn’t meant to be, she found solace in the arms of Shaun Watkins (Brad Moller).
With the unborn baby belonging to him, Elly decides the best move is to tell Mark it’s his baby.
But when she dives out of the courtroom upon seeing Shaun, Mark wants to know what’s going on.
She begs Shaun not to tell Mark the truth but with him being Finn’s brother, surely the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.
Will Elly find herself losing everything in the coming weeks?
