HOW WILL POLDARK END?

What will happen in Poldark season 5?

Season four saw Ross Poldark (played by Aidan Turner) become a Member of Parliament.

However, cast and crew were spotted filming at West Wheal Owles engine house in Cornwall, which suggests the drama will be set between London and Cornwall.

The season four finale saw the death of Elizabeth Warleggan (Heida Reed) shortly after she gave birth to her daughter Ursula.

The fifth and final season will break away from the Poldark series by Winston Graham as the story is wrapped up.

In the novels, there was an 11-year time jump with the action taking place in 1810-11.

Speaking about the new series, Turner said: “There is a lot going on this series; there is an influx of exciting new characters, there’s a lot of tension.

“There is a great pace to the show this year that feels different and overall it feels slightly more grown up. That is something I believe people have loved about Poldark, that it does change every series and there are always new and interesting characters that alter the feel of the show.

“Ross is a dynamic character; he is not the same person year after year. ‘It has been incredible taking him on this journey.”
