The footage, shared by the local police department in an effort to find the woman, shows a mother pushing her one-year-old child in a stroller through the shop as they waited on line.
Soon, both women are seen pointing either at the ground or toward one another.
The woman, described to be white and in her 60s, then walked closer to the stroller, pulled down her mask, and coughed on the baby two or three times.
The mother then pulled a cover on the stroller over her baby, seemingly to protect it.

The mom involved in the incident, Mireya Mora, told KGO the older woman “did it on purpose.”

Mora alleged the woman “purposely coughed on my son’s face” after the woman became angered that she was standing close in line.
She also claimed the woman “may be racist.”
“Me and my grandma are Hispanic and she started telling me about my distance and harassing me and my son once I started speaking Spanish to my grandma.”
This week, the Oak Grove School District in San Jose announced that the woman seen in the video was no longer employed with the district.
