West Brom 0 Aston Villa 3: Sam Allardyce suffers nightmare Prem return as El Ghazi scores twice past ten-man Baggies

SAM ALLARDYCE suffered a disastrous start to life as West Brom boss on the wrong end of a romp against Aston Villa.

Anwar El Ghazi scored at the start and end of Sunday night’s Midlands derby at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies installed Big Sam to replace Slaven Bilic after just one win upon their return to the top-flight.

But he watched on as Jake Livermore picked up a red card for an over-the-ball lunge on Jack Grealish after El Ghazi’s opener.

Ollie Watkins was denied the second by a harsh VAR call for offside.

And Grealish set up Bertrand Traore to finally put Villa two up after 84 minutes.

El Ghazi then chipped home a cheeky penalty moments later to seal the 3-0 win.
