When Mia Farrow and Woody Allen first began their relationship, Soon-Yi Previn was 11-years old.

But Previn and Allen began a romantic relationship when she was 21 — when Allen was 57 and still in a relationship with Farrow.

Their relationship was discovered when Farrow found nude photographs of Previn in Allen’s home.

Who are Woody Allen’s other children?

Farrow has four biological children and seven adopted whom, at one period of time, she was raising with Allen.

Farrow had three biological children with her second husband André Previn.

Twins Matthew and Sascha were born in 1970, and Fletcher was born in 1974.

In 1973 and 1976 respectively they adopted Lark Song Previn and Summer “Daisy” Song Previn from Vietnam.

Soon-Yi was adopted from Korea in 1978.

Farrow divorced from Previn in 1979 and a year later, as a single mother, she adopted Moses from North Korea.

When Farrow started dating Allen in 1980 she already had seven children.

In 1985 Farrow adopted Dylan Farrow and in 1991 Allen co-adopted Dylan and Moses.

The couple then had their own biological child Satchel Farrow, later known as Ronan, who was born in 1987 — although Farrow claimed his father could be her first husband Frank Sinatra.

Between 1992 and 1995, Farrow adopted five more children: Tam Farrow, Kaeli-Shea Farrow, later known as Quincy, Frankie-Minh, Isaiah Justus, and Gabriel Wilk Farrow, later known as Thadeus.

How long have Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn been married?

Allen and Previn have been married for 23 years. Allen admitted when he first started seeing Previn, he didn’t think their relationship would last.

“I started the relationship with her and I thought it would just be a fling. It wouldn’t be serious, but it had a life of its own,” he told NPR. “And I never thought it would be anything more.”

“Then we started going together, then we started living together, and we were enjoying it. I’m 35 years older, and somehow through no fault of mine of hers, the dynamic worked.”

Allen has been at the center of controversy for many years after he was alleged to have abused his daughter Dylan Farrow when she was a young child.

Allen strongly denied the allegation, calling it “an unconscionable and gruesomely damaging manipulation of innocent children for vindictive and self-serving motives”.

And Previn has insisted her husband is innocent.

Speaking out in a bombshell New York Magazine interview, Previn publicly defended him.

She said: “I was never interested in writing a ‘Mommie Dearest,’ getting even with Mia — none of that.

“But what’s happened to Woody is so upsetting, so unjust.”

In the interview, carried out by a friend of Woody’s, Allen said: “I am a pariah … People think that I was Soon-Yi’s father, that I raped and married my underaged, retarded daughter.”

Journalist Ronan Farrow, son of Allen and Farrow, also tweeted a statement in support of his mother at the time.

He criticized New York Magazine for its decision to publish “a hit job, written by a longtime admirer and friend of Woody Allen’s.”

To further complicate family ties, Allen’s son Moses published a 4,600-word blog post titled A Son Speaks Out in 2018 in which he defended his adoptive father against the allegations.

Allen v. Farrow explores Dylan Farrow’s historical sexual abuse allegations against the famous filmmaker – which he has vehemently denied.

Allen V. Farrow airs on HBO on February 21 at 9pm.
