A YORKSHIRE pud fan ate 60 in three minutes to win an eating contest.

Kyle Gibson, 22, has scoffed on the fluffy Sunday dinner sides every week since he was a kid.

And he puts his success down to “yorkie” battles with his sisters — which he always won.

Kyle said: “I thought my upbringing would give an edge.

“My competitive spirit kicks in.

“I couldn’t imagine a Sunday lunch without Yorkies. I eat them hot, cold, all meals and as a snack.

“Add golden syrup and boom, it’s dessert.”

Kyle, of Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne and Wear, has been entering eating contests for four years.
